Mets Sign Ex-Yankees Pitcher Who Fans Called An Ace

The Mets made their first real move of the offseason and it was Ex-Yankees Ace Luis Severino, hopefully Jeremy Hefner can work with him (starting 39 minutes ago) and turn him into the guy throwing fuzz balls in triple digits. Worst case scenario he's only signed for 1 year but I trust the coaches in place to turn him around, but overall it's a pretty decent pickup for a team that needs arms and he's pitched in New York already so no surprises there.

Sevy is a big risk but a bigger reward, injuries haven't helped his career but who doesn't love a comeback story?!?!? 2022 he had 19 games went 7-3 with a 3.18 ERA112 K's in 101 IP and a 1.00 WHIP, so we'll have to wait to see what happens but Welcome to Queens Sevy!!!! And this is only the beginning of the new Front Office taking care of this roster and rotation for the 2024 season, and i expect more arms and 1 of those arms being a Japanese one. LFGM🍎
