50% of Jets Fans will hate this and 50% of Jets fans will agree with me. Imagine "Retiring" from a gimmick? I respected Fireman Ed even after he "Retired" but he basically retired because the team was absolute shit, sure he can say it was other reasons but we all know the real reason behind it, The J-E-T-S SUCKS SUCKS SUCKS!!!! Then they found themselves a QB, not a good one but they thought he was, and suddenly he's back!!! You don't have to be a Detective to crack this case.
After the Jets traded for Aaron Rodgers I'm almost certain Fireman Ed was handling another kind of hose, but that was short-lived.......very short!!! But Recently Zach Wilson has been playing pretty good, and the Jets might actually be good? 🤔 Now hear me out...Zach Wilson with his headband/bandana are 2 completely different players.
With the headband Zach has a 72.3 completion percentage, without it he is a 52.9 completion percentage, the Jets were averaging 14 PPG with his headband and 22 PPG without his headband, his rating with the headband is 69(nice).3 and without it he's at 85.8 so there may be something there.
But that is no help from the fraud "Super Fan" Fireman Ed, now I thank him for his service and his time as a hero firefighter in Harlem, BUT that doesn't take away that he quit on his team, and I don't really blame him, that shit isn't cheap!!!! but you can never retire from your gimmick until you die.
PS - This team defense is pretty legit.
